Fair and kind review, thanks for sharing.

During Covid, someone told me that disease transmission depends on two things: 1) how dense a population is, and 2) how dense a population is (excuse the British slang). That human element seems to be the real “drama” in biowarfare, making it fascinating to read about—endless possibilities for how outcomes will evolve based on the self-important decisions of others. It makes determining how a pathogen might biologically evolve seem much “cleaner” by comparison. Got me thinking about what my next read should be!
